DLSU-D faculty passes Environmental Planning licensure exam

Barely a year after finishing his PhD degree in Environmental Studies, Dr. Arnold B. Fonollera, Associate Professor of Biology in the Biological Sciences Department passed the recently concluded Licensure Examination in Environmental Planning held by the Professional Regulations Commission.
In a tough 2-day examination held in St. Jude College that consisted of various topics ranging from Environmental Planning History, Theory, Concepts and Local Planning Processes and relevant Environmental Laws, Dr. Fonollera was among the 739 passers out of the 1,739 examinees who took the test.
He took his professional oath before the Board of Environmental Planners last July 31, 2017 in Club Filipino, Greenhills, City of San Juan and was inducted into the roster of Professional Environmental Planners of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners.
EnP Fonollera,PhD, has been active advocate in the environmental science industry having been a former director of the Pollution Control Association of the Phils.-Region 4A (PCAPI-R4A) and Solid Waste Management Association of the Philippines and has engaged in various capacity-builiding activities in these organizations. As a full-time faculty for 21 years in DLSU-D, he is presently into ecotourism and allied health research while having teaching units in Environmental Science and Histology.
