DLSU-D implements more stringent security measures

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, in an effort to upgrade security services being provided within the University, will be embarking on additional measures that will complement Disaster Risk Reduction Management.
Among the new measures that will be implemented by University effective immediately are the following:* Deployment of an Emergency Response Vehicle and Medical First Responders.
* Deployment of Fire Truck which is stationed at the motor pool.
* Deployment of a K9 unit.
* Installation of Walk-through Metal Detector at Magdalo and Madiwang Gates.
“We continue to encourage everyone’s cooperation in achieving a safe, secured and environment-friendly campus. Please report violation and urgent concerns through our Campus Security Office local 3279 or Call/Text message at mobile no. 0995-5782916,” General Services Office Director Edwin Bunag said in his memorandum.
Bunag also warned that the community should be responsible in using the contacts provided. He said that the name and program code (for students) / department (for employee) should be indicated in reporting concerns and violations. Hoax calls/messages will be duly reprimanded.
