DLSU-D strengthens partnerships for internship, placement

De La Salle University-Dasmariñas opens its doors to representatives from Thomson Reuters to explore partnerships for internship, placement and certificate programs.

The Thomson Reuters team, composed of Program Manager Gene Ona, Sr. Consultant Cynthia Figueroa and Project Coordinator Juliet Conti will be meeting with the team from the University Linkages Office including ULO Director Wilson R. Jacinto, ULO Outbound Coordinator Dr. Vangie B. Montillano and ULO Inbound Coordinator Ronaldo L. Lubiano. They will be joined by Alumni Relations and Placement Office Coordinator Leo D. Manansala as well as department chairs from the seven colleges.

Communication and Journalism Department Chair Artin G. Umali, Business Management Department Chair Alice D. Descallar, Allied Business Department Chair Rosario T. Reyes, Accountancy Department Chair Eden C. Cabrera and Computer Studies Department faculty member Ma. Gloria A. del Rosario will also be present during the discussions to share their inputs on improving the potential partnership between Thomson Reuters and DLSU-D.

Its team in Manila currently employs a 1,500-strong workforce based McKinley Hill, Taguig City. The team from Thomson Reuters will be at the University on September 11, 2017 for their official visit.
