As part of University’s celebration of the Marian months of September and October, DLSU-D revisits "The Virgins of Cavite," a first-of-its-kind research conducted by its faculty members.

"The Virgins of Cavite: History, Art and Religiosity" was a study conducted by Teresita Unabia, Dr. Bernardo Sepeda and Rosanni Recreo Sarile in 2014. It remains as one of the most comprehensive collections of information on the Marian devotion in the province.

The documentary, produced by DLSU-D and the Asian Digital Network chronicles the strength of the Marian devotion and helps researchers and viewers understand how the devotion impacts the different aspects of the life among many Caviteños.
