One Hundred Years Ago...

The Lasallian centennial celebration commemorates the arrival of the first founding brothers from Europe on March 1911 to fulfill the mission of St. John Baptist de la Salle to provide quality education to all. In keeping with their noble cause, the brothers started the first La Salle school in the Philippines on a property in Calle Nozaleda bought by Br. Adolphe Alfred FSC, director of a Brothers’ School in Barcelona, Spain for only P86. From its humble beginnings, De La Salle now operates 17 campuses and serves 196,000 students, inculcating in them the values faith, zeal and communion.
