The Architecture Department, guided by the Lasallian values of Religio, Mores and Cultura participates meaningfully in the process of social transformation and nation building by forming God-centered, people-oriented and patriotic architects who serve as responsible, honest and professionally competent stewards of creation.
MISSION
To realize the vision, the department shall strive to become one of the nation’s leading architecture education institutions in the integral formation of the aspirants to the field by offering relevant, responsive, and community-oriented courses that promotes keen sense of arts and culture. Guided by the examples of St. John Baptist de La Salle, the department shall continue transforming itself into a caring community guided by Gospel values with passionate sense of service, love for pursuit of new learning towards excellence and through holistic formation of its members.
The course concerns the design, development, construction and administration of environmentally sound, socially acceptable, functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. The curriculum molds the students to be professional and responsible planners abreast with developments in the industry.
