The School of Governance, Public Service, and Corporate Leadership (SGPSCL) is an independent academic unit under the Office of the Provost of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas. We are committed to forming ethical, strategic, and future-ready leaders who will shape communities, institutions, and societies toward a just, peaceful, and sustainable future. 

Grounded in Lasallian values and driven by research, innovation, and community engagement, SGPSCL serves as an academic oasis for leaders in public service, governance, and corporate leadership—starting from the barangay and extending to national and global arenas.

A professional-track master’s degree designed for current and aspiring leaders in government, private enterprises, and civil society organizations. 

Program Learning Outcomes  

By the end of the program, the students will:  

  • Gain a comprehensive theoretical understanding of global sustainability challenges facing communities and societies, and develop innovative models to address them.
  • Learn innovative and up-to-date approaches in public management, focusing on the areas such as local legislation, public policy, strategic management, development planning and management, environmental management, cultural and tourism management, disaster risk management, and public relations, and crisis communication.
  • Build a solid theoretical base in governance, complemented by practical leadership skills.
  • Examine ethical theories in leadership and governance through the study of hypothetical and real-world case studies.  
  • Design sustainability projects that contribute to government, non-governmental, and corporate initiatives.

  • Problem-Posing Method. We treat our students as partners in teaching-learning processes, providing them hypothetical and real-world cases to solve rather than ready-made answers to memorize. Towards the end of the program, students are tasked with developing and presenting a sustainability project plan as their capstone project.  
  • Ethical Foundation. Our mission goes beyond producing professionals equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical skills.  We aim to empower leaders with strong ethical foundation.
