Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program focuses on the comprehensive planning, design, construction, and management of vital infrastructure projects. The curriculum integrates essential considerations in structural integrity, energy efficiency, environmental safety, and economic viability. Students receive rigorous training across key sub-disciplines—including structural engineering, geotechnical analysis, transportation systems, water resources, and environmental protection. Graduates of the BSCE program are exceptionally well-prepared to pursue successful professional careers involving advanced field measurements, innovative construction materials and procedures, structural analysis and design, transportation engineering, water supply systems, and pollution control across local and global industries.

Program Goals
The Civil Engineering program shall produce professionals who:
- Practice their profession effectively as registered civil engineers.
- Promote advocacies and other initiatives supported by their comprehensive civil engineering education.
- Enhance their knowledge and skills through continuous professional advancement in specialized fields of expertise.
- Exhibit uncompromising professional ethics and positive attitudes in engineering practice.
- Demonstrate substantial involvement in projects related to key areas of civil engineering, including structural, transportation, water resources, construction management, geotechnical, environmental, and energy engineering.
Program Outcomes
By the time of graduation, students in the program shall have the ability to:
- Apply knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering sciences to solve complex civil engineering problems.
- Design and conduct experiments, as well as analyze and interpret data effectively.
- Design systems, components, or processes to meet desired needs within realistic constraints, such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability standards.
- Function effectively as members or leaders in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Identify, formulate, and solve complex civil engineering problems.
- Demonstrate an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
- Communicate technical matters effectively regarding civil engineering activities with the engineering community and society at large.
- Analyze the impact of civil engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
- Recognize the need for, and engage in, lifelong learning to stay current with advancements in the field.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of contemporary issues related to engineering and infrastructure.
- Utilize techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for contemporary civil engineering practice.
- Apply engineering and management principles to manage projects effectively as a team member or leader in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrate core competencies in at least one specialized field of civil engineering practice.
