DLSU-D ECE Students Excel at SALINHABI 2026, Earn National-Level Qualification

Electronics Engineering (ECE) students from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) delivered an impressive performance at SALINHABI 2026, held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA–Molino Campus.

 

The DLSU-D delegation secured championship and runner-up finishes in several events, with qualified students earning the opportunity to represent the University in national-level competitions.

 

Leading DLSU-D’s academic achievements was the team of Laurence William L. Reyes, Isaiah Arnel C. Alcantara, and Rhance Angel M. Manabat, who emerged as Champion in the ECE Math Olympiad.

 

DLSU-D also claimed the Champion title in the Interscholastic Quiz Show through Marco Elijah M. Arcallana, Jonelle John Gabriel F. Vergel, and Gian Mark A. Nepomuceno. The same team further demonstrated their academic proficiency by placing 1st Runner-Up in the Elite Electronics Showdown.

 

In the Datathon, Chris Bern J. Engada, Marcus Kianne A. Enriquez, and Francis Cobby F. Maron secured 2nd Runner-Up, adding another podium finish to DLSU-D’s strong showing in the academic competitions.

 

The University also earned recognition in the non-academic competitions, with Hannah Sofia B. Velarde placing 1st Runner-Up in the Digital Art Competition. Velarde likewise received the People’s Choice Award in the same competition.
