Br. John David Ong FSC

Br. John David M. Ong FSC is a dedicated educator and Lasallian leader with extensive experience in school administration and mission driven roles. 

He served as the Vice President for Administration and Lasallian Mission at Jaime Hilario Integrated School – La Salle during the 2021 - 2022 academic year. He also took on the role of Director of the Basic Education Unit Lasallian Formation and Mission Center from 2017 - 2019, and Christian Living Academic Assistant at La Salle University, Ozamiz City in the same years. 

Br. Ong has held various leadership positions, including Principal, Prefect of Discipline, Subject Area Coordinator for English, School Paper Adviser, and Student Council Adviser. He is also a co-author of several research, including An Assessment of the English Campaign Programs (2008), Designing and Validating an Assessment Tool for Campus Papers (2007), and Designing and Validating an Assessment Tool for Performing Arts Management (2007). 

Among his successful publications were: An Assessment of the English Campaign Programs at the Integrated School of Angeles University Foundation: Phase 1, co – authored with Jesse M. Balinas and Erlinda B. Sialongo (2008); Designing and Validating an Assessment Tool for Campus Papers, co – authored with Richard Albert G. Daenos (2007), and Designing and Validating Assessment Tool for Performing Arts Management, co - authored with Richard Albert G. Daenos and Emee Q. Sunga (Volume 2, 2007). 

Recognized for his excellence in leadership, Br. Ong was awarded "One of the Outstanding School Administrators" for three consecutive years (2016-2019) and received the Division Most Outstanding School Paper Adviser and Service Award in 2005.
