The Center of Technology (COT), part of DTI's Shared Service Facilities (SSF) program, focuses on training MSMEs and students in digital design and prototyping. It showcases digital technology's competitive advantage, fosters understanding of the Design Thinking Approach, and integrates artificial intelligence for streamlined data collection through the Internet of Things. The AI components enhance decision-making, marketing, operations, customer service, and enable efficient product and service delivery through automation. Additionally, COT's AI capabilities contribute to emergency response by providing site monitoring, surveying, and impact assessment through data analytics.
Mission
Guided by the Lasallian values of Faith, Zeal, and Communion, College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT) Center of Innovation (COT) shall strive to give trainings and technology exchanges for the Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs) and researchers in digital methods of product design and prototyping; demonstrate how digital technology can be a source of competitive advantage for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSMEs); create new products, prototypes and product systems using digital-enabled manufacturing technologies; and establish greater understanding of the Design Thinking Approach to product development.
Vision
The COT will be a recognized leader and partner of the government in the development of innovative products and a venue of technology exchanges and training for researchers, MSMEs, and aspiring entrepreneurs nationally and globally.
