Guidance and Counselling Office
The Guidance and Counselling Office (GCO) is a service unit committed to uphold the school’s Vision and Mission Statements. Guided by the Lasallian values of Faith, Service, and Communion, it aims to: develop students who are God-centered, agents of social transformation, and holistically competent; help in the integral formation of the students by accompanying them through its various programs and activities; and support the students’ preparation for post-secondary/college options.
Campus Ministry Office
Campus Ministry’s main purpose is to meet the religious and pastoral needs of the students. While they are in school, they should be provided with opportunities to develop themselves not only as efficient Christian servant leaders but also as God-fearing, religious and morally upright stewards.
The student clubs, organizations and activities aim to promote well-rounded formation of students, inspired and guided by the Christian teachings and the Lasallian Values taught by our founder, St. John Baptist de la Salle.
Lasallian Student Formation Office (LSFO)
The Lasallian Student Formation Office (LSFO) under the leadership of the Discipline Formator-Animator (DFA), is the main unit that develops, implements and oversees discipline and character in the campus. All school personnel and parents are expected, however, to share in the responsibility and proffer measures that would promote an environment where rules are obeyed, self-control is exercised and rights are respected.
De La Salle University-Dasmariñas Junior High School aims to develop well-rounded individuals imbued with discipline, morals and values of a Lasallian spirit in their quest to excel in different sports. It equally imparts the values of sportsmanship, solidarity, association, and healthy competitions which are constantly impressed upon them in joining sports activities in school, among schools, and off-campus sports activities or tournaments.
The Junior Lasallian Student Council (JLSC) promotes the welfare of the students and works for the proper coordination of all student activities with the faculty and administration. Specifically, the SC aims to organize and support student activities to promote Lasallian values. It is facilitated by the SC Adviser with the supervision of the Office of the Coordinator for Student Services.
The school shall maintain an official student publication, The Green Herald. With the guidance of the School Publication Adviser, the student staff/members learn the fundamentals of journalism with emphasis on newspaper ethics, responsible communication and values-laden media.
