The Linkages and Scholarship Office (LSO) is responsible for establishing a cohesive and programmatic approach to building partnerships with agencies, government and nongovernment organizations, industries, and higher education institutions. The unit under the Office of the Vice President for Global Engagement and External Relations (OVPGEER) serves as a platform for initiating and sustaining areas of cooperation, with a focus on carrying out academic collaboration programs, activities and strategies that are inclusive, cost-effective and results based. This includes benchmarking, student mobility, faculty exchanges, instructional and social engagements and research fellowship/collaboration.
It also manages comprehensive scholarship programs that offer financial aid to students. This program leverages both internal university funds and generous contributions from external partners. The office provides guidance and support throughout the application process, ensuring students have the resources they need to achieve their academic goals.
