The Advancement and Resource Generation Office recently added another installment to the Success Stories Lecture Series entitled “Upholding Citizens’ Honor, Human Rights and Safety in the Pursuit of Law Enforcement” in partnership with the College of Criminal Justice Education.
MGen. Gener P. del Rosario, inspector general of the Philippine Army was invited as the resource speaker for the event where he shared his background from his humble beginnings. He also shared his experience during his first few years in the military where he was deployed in the mountains of Visayas and Mindanao to provide basic services to the community.
During the talk, he discussed the essential military characteristics and programs that the Philippine Army provides for the citizens in the remote areas of the country in the hopes of inspiring aspiring law enforcers who wish to pursue a career in the military.
Participating audience from the CCJE actively raised their questions in terms of career opportunities in the military and shared their interest in the government’s development programs.
The lecture series was held at the Corporate Hall of the Retreat and Conference Center last October 10.
