The La Salle Filipiniana Dance Company bagged 1^st place in the Folklore Performance Adult Category of the World Folklore Festival 2019 (52^nd Nangye Gurak Festival) held at Yeongdong Cultural Center, Korea on October 4-6, 2019. The event was organized by Korean dance organization IDO Korea.

The team was accompanied by Performance Arts Group Coordinator Joel Refuerzo and Student Development and Activities Office (SDAO) Coordinator Ma. Luisa Ongcol for the competition.
