The Information and Communications Technology Center (ICTC) recently concluded the 10th installment of its ongoing iTrain series entitled "Tectonic Behind Success." The event was attended by BCS and IT students.
Among the speakers at the event was Gilbert L. Villareal, Data Engineering Manager from Accenture Philippines who talked about Career Pathing. NEM Philippines Business Development Manager Julius Patrick C. Fresco talked about the mechanics of Blockchain and Bitcoin while Alex Timbol, who also hails from NEM Philippines, shared his insights into the the industrial revolution and the evolution of the internet.
"The ICTC remains committed to provide free trainings and workshops for members of the Lasallian community through the iTRain series and we are thankful that student organizations like the Lasallian Computer Society have partnered with us this time for this installment," Derick Gil Orbe, iTrain head, said.
