The Kundirana will be performing for the Salamat sa Musika concert at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas on August 27. The event is as a fund raising event for the Bahay Pag-asa facility for Children in Conflict with the Law.
The event, spearheaded by DLSU-D’s Advancement and Alumni Relations Office in coordination with the High School Department, will take place at the Ugnayang La Salle from 3-5 pm.
The Kundirana (Kundiman at Harana) is a high-school Music Ministry composed of selected students of La Salle Green Hills (LSGH). The group has produced some of the Philippines’ premiere vocalists like Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Monet Silvestre, Rannie Raymundo, Dingdong Avanzado, Dingdong Eduque, Montet Acoymo, Juan Miguel Salvador, Carlo Orosa, Vince Alaras, Von de Guzman and Gian Magdangal among others.
As part of its public ministry to serve the needy, the Kundirana brings joy to students, the sick, the elderly and the forgotten through music. Their fund raising concerts have significantly contributed to the construction of the Bahay Pag-asa in Bacolod and DLSU-D which now serves children in conflict with the law. Their performances have also helped build classrooms in many parts of the country.
