Senior AB Communication students successfully staged "The 4th Industrial Revolution: Revolving Solutions" entrepreneurial conference at the Luis Aguado Viewing Room to explore concepts like financial literacy and social media as well as the realities of disruptive and innovative technologies among millenials.
Industry expert Chai Santiago kicked off the discussion and shared her experiences in Banking and Finance in the 4th Industrial Revolution, particularly touching on financial freedom among millennials and its connection to social media.
Jay Jaboneta, IT and marketing whiz who was also named as Yahoo! Southeast Asia’s 7 Modern Day Heroes in 2011, tackled the topic “Innovative and Disruptive Technologies, Education in the 4th Industrial Revolution.” He is currently a consultant on resource technologies, resource mobilization and social innovation of De La Salle College of St. Benilde and works with local and international non profit organizations on social media marketing and strategies.
The event, which sought to delve deeper into the concepts of the 4th Industrial Revolution and its impact to the global economy, also explored developments on Customer Expectation/Innovative Business and Social Media Marketing.
