De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, DLS Medical and Health Science Institute and De La Salle Philippines have partnered to hold a forum for senatoriables on April 25, 2019 at the Ugnayang La Salle.
The forum sought to provide an avenue for senatorial candidates to state their position on key issues and field questions from the audience to test their credibility and competence in public service prior to the May 13 elections. Offices were also closed to encourage strong participation from DLSU-D employees while faculty members were enjoined to make the event an alternative class for students.
Guest candidates included Atty. Erin Tañada III, Atty. Chel Diokno, and Mr. Leody de Guzman who addressed issues on labor, agrarian reform, women’s rights, and other pressing local and national concerns.
