DLSU-D faculty researchers received grants to conduct USAID-funded research projects on plastic pollution through Ecowaste Coalition, a public interest and advocacy network pursuing sustainable solutions to environmental problems. Three of the four grants were awarded to DLSU-D.
DLSU-D researchers, represented by Dr. Johnny Ching, Dr. Mario Torres, Dr. Jonathan Rubio, Dr. Airill Mercurio, Mr. Marlon Pareja , Ms. Maria Nena Caspe, and Ms. Maria Theresa Gochuico, attended the First Stakeholders Platform Meeting held at the Hotel Privato, Quezon City. The platform was organized by Ecowaste, and was the initial activity of the engagement with the University. The projects will be undertaken with the support of the University Research Office (URO).
