De La Salle University-Dasmariñas has been invited to present its best practices at the EAUC Virtual Annual Climate conference on July 8 entitled “Embedding Sustainability within your Institutions: Lessons from Top Universities.”

The Environment Resource Management Center will present the University’s best practices in terms of solid waste management, zero carbon initiatives, integration of sustainability into the curriculum, as well as biodiversity protection and conservation.

It can be recalled that DLSU-D was selected as one of the finalists in the prestigious International Green Gown Awards 2021 staged by the Alliance for Sustainability Leadership in Education (EAUC), the UN Environment Programme, and other partners.

Established in 2004, the Green Gown Awards recognizes the exceptional sustainability initiatives being undertaken by universities and colleges. Over the years, the IGGA has become established as one the most prestigious recognitions of best practice within the further and higher education sector.
