On May 13, the Lasallian community begins Triduum Prayers to honor St. John Baptist de La Salle as patron of all teachers.

Pope Pius XII recognized St. John Baptist de La Salle’s high regard for the work of teaching and declared him “as heavenly patron of all teachers”, a role model to all teachers and student teachers.

For Day 1 of our Triduum, we thank the Lord for the Lasallian Educational Heritage which St. John Baptist de La Salle started, and is being continued today by Lasallians around the world.
