
Vice President Leni Robredo stopped by De La Salle University-Dasmarinas during her scheduled visit to various areas in Cavite.
The Vice President received a formal welcome reception at the DLSU-D Chapel from administrators and sectoral representatives.
In the joint message delivered by University President Br. Augustine "Gus" Boquer FSC, EdD and University Chief Administrative Officer Francisco "Sockie" dela Rosa VI FSC, they congratulated Vice President Robredo on her achievements as a public servant and for instituting a systematic approach to addressing various social concerns. They also lauded the Vice President for serving as a role model for good governance.
Our Vice President has championed the domains of public service and good governance. The Office of the Vice President’s systematic approach to address various social concerns has made her office truly commendable. Some of her office’s initiatives are: Ahon Laylayan Koalisyon; Angat Buhay; Istorya ng Pag-asa; and Biserbisyong Level-up which significantly helped many sectors in the country. Her commitment to the Filipino people has manifested in the Commission on Audit report where she received the highest audit rating for three consecutive years.
Our Vice President, despite of having a limited office budget, was able to roll-up her sleeves and secured the trust of the top corporations in the country, non-government and government organizations, private individuals, among others. Her transparency and genuine concern to the Filipino people served as the most essential ingredients in her leadership journey. On top of it, her heroic pandemic response has greatly been felt and benefited our countrymen.

The Vice President was accompanied by Senator Kiko Pangilinan, an alumni of La Salle Greenhills. In his brief message, he credited his alma mater for molding him to be the public servant that he is today.
