De La Salle University-Dasmariñas recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of the Philippines Los Baños seeking to develop academic and educational cooperation between the two top education institutions.
The academic partnership, which will span two years from the signing of the MoU, covers research collaboration, faculty resources, and other forms of cooperation.
Among potential programs to come out of the partnership agreement is the exchange of faculty and researchers, student exchange, collaborative research and extension projects, lectures, symposia, capacity-building programs, exchange of academic information and materials, as well as promotion of other academic activities.
According to Assistant Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Research Dr. Johnny Ching, the project was being explored before but it only came to fruition this school year.
