Outstanding Lasallian researchers were honored by the University in the recently held Gawad Lasalyano sa Pagsasaliksik.
Among the recipients of the Gawad Sibol for faculty / employees who have completed their first research and continued the endeavor for two consecutive years were Irish D. Bautista (LCDC), Eden C. Cabrera (ACD), and Wiziel F. Napod (HMD).
The Gawad Tanglaw, an award given to a faculty or staff member who served as a leader/mentor in completed research projects for two straight years, was presented to Ma. Virginia G. Aguilar, Ph.D. (SHD), Airill L. Mercurio, Ph.D. (BSD), Edwin F. Lineses, Ph.D. (SHD), and Jonathan S. Rubio, Ph.D. (BSD).
Meanwhile, the Gawad Husay, an award presented to meaningful researches that have created a lasting impact, was presented to several offices and outstanding researchers.

Among those who attended the event to present the awards were VCAR, Dr. Cristina Salibay, Assistant Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Research Dr. Johnny Ching, and University Research Office Director Dr. Edwin Lineses.
"Today presents a valuable occasion to acknowledge individuals who have displayed remarkable achievements in the realm of research and publication. As educators, we hold a profound responsibility that extends beyond mere instruction, encompassing a commitment to contribute meaningfully to society. Through our studies, we strive to provide scientific and pragmatic solutions to address the myriad challenges that beset communities," Lineses said.
