Shiela Mae L. Misamin, a sophomore DLSU-D AB Communication student bagged 2nd place in Photojournalism during the closing ceremony of SIYASAT 2023: The 3rd Ditto Sarmiento Journalism Cup. The award ceremony was held at the Institute of Biology Auditorium, UP Diliman last October 13.

As an active member of the Visual and Performing Arts Production Unit (VPAPU), Shiela Mae has been honing her skills in photojournalism and visual arts.

“CLAC is blessed to have students like Shiela Mae, with an eye for truth and the admirable skill to portray that truth. Our College will continue to support students like her as part of our role in social transformation,” CLAC Associate Dean Evelyn Perez said.
