Three students from the Colleges of Science and Computer Studies (COS) and Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) will fly to Lewis University in Chicago, Illinois, USA, to represent the university for the annual student training hosted by the International Association of Lasallian Universities.
The two-week training will be participated in by Khristine Alcartado, Jana Ng, and Ullysis Valle, along with other Lasallian students worldwide.
In an interview, Linkages Director Dr. Christian George Francisco explained the students will be in the US from July 7 to July 20. The training will focus on being Lasallian, as well as other training areas about sustainability.
Francisco shared that the students also received a subsidy under the University's Academic Mobility Program to cover the training costs, food and accommodation.
DLSU-D's extensive Academic Mobility Program seeks to provide Lasallians with more opportunities to explore a wider network through DLSU-D's local and international partnerships.
