Continuing its mission to make language learning more accessible to the Lasallian community, the Language Learning Center (LLC) successfully wrapped up its second language learning session, LLS 2: Bonjour! French 101 last November 7, 2025.
This engaging two-hour session was facilitated by Br. Dieu Sambiaku Mampuya, a Lasallian brother currently serving in the Web Unit of the ICT Center. Participants, comprised of both students and faculty from DLSU-Dasmariñas, were introduced to the fundamentals of the French language. The session covered essential topics such as the French alphabet, numbers, and basic greetings and expressions. Simple snacks from the French cuisine were also shared to fully enhance the learners’ cultural experience.
Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response from the community, plans are already underway to offer a second and third batch of this session next semester. These upcoming sessions aim to accommodate more learners eager to explore the beauty of the French language and culture.
