
Mary Daffodil B. Cordero, a faculty member of the Hospitality Management Department, has officially become a certified trainer for the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE), a flagship program of the Department of Tourism (DOT).
Cordero recently completed the FBSE Train the Trainers Course for Academe, which equips faculty to teach tourism students how to deliver exceptional service and promote the Philippines' hospitality brand. It was attended by various institutions across CALABARZON which aims to elevate service standards within the Philippine tourism industry.
Cordero, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) from DLSU-D in 2000, was congratulated by Dr. Grace Cella R. Mejia, Chair of the Tourism Management Department.
“We couldn't be prouder of her remarkable achievement and unwavering dedication to promoting the Filipino brand of hospitality and service excellence,” said Dr. Mejia.
This accomplishment underscores the department's commitment to excellence and growth.
