The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) buildings at DLSU-D are set to open by August 15, 2025.
The newly-renovated Purificacion Borromeo Hall (formerly CTHM Building) has completed its structural phase, with certifications confirming its safety. Its ground floor, including the Kitchen Laboratory and Bar Management Room, was used during the PAASCU visit last May.
Its architectural works are ahead of schedule, with cladding and painting nearing completion. The facility will house 23 classrooms, 8 laboratories, and the multi-functional Salrial Hall, which will be shared with the College of Information and Computer Studies (CICS).
Meanwhile, the new Gregoria De Jesus Hall (CEAT building) has reached 96.67% completion. Site works, interior finishes, and mechanical installations are in their final stages. It will feature 25 classrooms, 42 laboratories, two event spaces, and a student lounge. The move-in phase has begun in completed areas, with the final turnover also targeted for August.
Both buildings are finalizing occupancy permits, with exterior work wrapping up by August. These projects mark a significant upgrade to the university’s learning facilities.
