Chef Fulepro Alberto “Props” Madrilejos, Chair of the Hospitality Management Department (HMD) at DLSU-D, won the silver medal in the Butter Cream Category at Cake Fiesta Manila.

This event was held at the World Trade Center in Manila. It brought together experts who shared their knowledge to aspiring bakers through competitions and workshops.

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) at DLSU-D congratulated Chef Madrilejos, praising his passion and creativity.

" You've shown us that buttercream artistry isn’t just about technique—it’s about pouring heart and soul into every creation," CTHM shared on Facebook.

Chef Madrilejos has been with DLSU-D since 2002 as a Chef Instructor, now he is the Department Chair of HMD. He earned his bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from DLSU-D in 2000.
