Gavin Dale Q. Sitones, a second-year BS Psychology student at DLSU-D, will represent the university at the International Student Leaders Meeting on Sustainability (ISLMS) in Szeged, Hungary, from April 10-12, 2025.
The summit, organized by the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, will bring together student leaders globally to discuss sustainable solutions.
Sitones, along with his mother, attended a contract signing at the ADG Boardroom with key university officials, including Loreto Camiloza (Chair of the Philosophy and Psychology Department), Dr. Nor Cachuela (Director of the Linkages and Scholarship Office), and Ms. Rachelle Arbiol (Internationalization and Program Mobility Officer).
“I am deeply honored and excited to have this opportunity to represent DLSU-D and the Philippines on such an important international stage” Sitones shared.
Camiloza expressed pride in Sitones, emphasizing his dedication to sustainability and confidence in his contributions to the summit.
“We are incredibly proud of Gavin's selection. His dedication and commitment to sustainability are commendable, and we are confident that he will make significant contributions to the ISLMS 2025,” Camiloza said.
DLSU-D’s participation in ISLMS underscores its commitment to internationalization and sustainability.
