In celebration of De La Salle University - Dasmariñas Students’ Week, the Language Learning Center (LLC) held its third language learning session, Konnichiwa! Japanese 101, in partnership with the students from the Teikyo University. Held last November 14, 2025, LLS 3 also concludes the last language learning session for the semester.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Georgina V. Kusano from the Senior High School Department, who delivered an insightful lecture on Japanese culture and introduced participants to essential Japanese greetings and conversational phrases. The event was also enhanced through the participation of Japanese students from Teikyo University, who demonstrated proper greeting etiquette and engaged attendees in interactive language practice.
This initiative reflects LLC’s ongoing commitment to fostering intercultural understanding and global awareness beyond the academic community. By creating immersive learning experiences, the center continues to bridge cultural gaps and inspire appreciation for diverse worldviews.
