The AGAPAY (Adhikaing Ganap Para sa Yaring Kabuhayan) service-learning program of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) was named one of the first-place winners in the Asia and Oceania region of the Uniservitate Awards 2026.
The recognition was conferred by the Uniservitate Asia & Oceania Regional Hub, which honors outstanding service-learning initiatives among Catholic higher education institutions.
AGAPAY empowers selected beneficiaries from Gawad Kalinga in Piela, Dasmariñas City through entrepreneurship training, business consultations, product demonstrations, and livelihood support to help families establish sustainable sources of income.
The program is a collaborative initiative of the DLSU-D's College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and the Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC).
The Uniservitate Awards recognize service-learning programs that promote academic excellence, social responsibility, and meaningful community engagement.
