The University Research Office (URO) of De La Salle University–Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) is set to host the 2nd Conference on Technology and Research for National Development and Sustainability (CONTRENDS) on April 23–25, 2026, at the Maria Salome Llanera Hall (MLH).
Anchored on the theme “The Role of Social Media and AI for a Sustainable Philippines,” the conference brings together scholars, researchers, and professionals to exchange ideas and advance interdisciplinary research for national development and sustainability.
CONTRENDS 2026 will feature five research clusters, namely:
- Business, Economics, and Management (BEAM)
- Communication, Arts, and Social Sciences (CASS)
- Religion, Education, Tourism, and Hospitality Management (RETHM)
- Science, Health, and Medicine (SHM)
- Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT)
Registration is limited to 250 pax only. Other details include:
- Regular Registration Fee: Php 3,000
- Early Bird Regular Registration: Php 2,500
- DLSU-D Participants: Php 1,500
- Participants from Partner Institutions: Php 2,000
- Optional Day Tour: Php 700

- April 10, 2026: Last day of online registration for presenters

- April 17, 2026: Submission of full paper (optional for journal publication)
- April 21, 2026: Last day of payment for online registration (on-site)
