
Two video entries from DLSU-D High School have been named the provincial and regional winners of the Department of Trade and Industry's contest on sustainable consumption. The video entries, made mostly by ABM students, will represent CALABARZON in the National Competition.
The first video entitled "Saro" was made up of a 14 member group led by Sairen Flores while the second entry entitled "Linlang" was a collective effort of 22 students led by Ricabelle Julia M. Villanueva. Both groups were advised by faculty member Jan Earl Mari Salandanan.
The DTI recently kicked off the celebration of Consumer Welfare Month 2019 with the theme “Sustainable Consumption: Understanding the Impact of Consumer’s Choices in a Shared Environment.” Based on the theme, the department seeks promote consumerism that meets human individual needs and aspirations with the conscious efforts to conserve the environment.
