Teikyo and DLSU-D Students Learn Korean Basics in LLC Session

October 16, 2026

Students from Teikyo University and De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) practiced Korean greetings and self-introductions during LLS6: Annyeong! Korean 101, a two-hour session conducted by the Language Learning Center (LLC).

Joseph Kim, a native Korean language specialist and PhD Educational Management student at DLSU-D, led the session. He introduced participants to the Korean writing system, then guided them through basic greetings, self-introductions, and speaking exercises designed to build foundational communication skills.

Bringing students from both universities into one class also made the session a venue for cultural exchange alongside language instruction.

The activity gave participants opportunities to practice their Korean language skills and learn more about Korean culture through interactive discussions and speaking exercises. It also highlighted students’ growing interest in learning Korean and connecting with other cultures.
