Chapel Door of wooden "narra". Top frieze carved in relief. Central panel has a rope medallion enclosing symbols of Saint Joseph- two axes, six nails, two blossoms and a star. Two side panels of darken wood in relief carving. Double border of whiplash lines and blossoms. Four-sectioned folding doors, each with three panels are incised with double whiplash lines and delicate blossoms. Door frame are lined with applied facetted strips embedded in rectangular holes. Door casing is applied with rows of facetted studs on both sides. Double band at center is gouged. This item is part of Museo de La Salle’s Santos Joven Panlilio collection which boasts of antique turn-of the-century furniture and decorative furnishings from the family’s ancestral home in Bacolor, Pampanga. Some pieces were collected through the years by art connoisseur, antique collector and interior designer Jose Ma. Ricardo Panlilio, the museum’s founding director.
