Description

A narra two-sectioned wooden sideboard cabinet with back metal braces securing top a sideboard cabinet with back metal braces securing top and bottom sections.

Top has relief-carved scrolled acanthus and molded frieze-crested central mirror; double side shelves with turned post, engraved base and apron; relief-carved scrolled acanthus brackets and small flushed mirrors. Bottom section has three drawers and three bottom cabinets with engaged pilaster and relief-carved foliate design.

This item is part of Museo de La Salle’s Santos Joven Panlilio collection which boasts of antique turn-of the-century furniture and decorative furnishings from the family’s ancestral home in Bacolor, Pampanga. Some pieces were collected through the years by art connoisseur, antique collector and interior designer Jose Ma. Ricardo Panlilio, the museum’s founding director.
