Self care is also caring for others. This was proven by students from the Council of Student Organizations (CSO), Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) and Students' Extension of Resources through Voluntary Efforts (SERVE) as they spent a part of their Self Care Week responding to the call of victims of Typhoon Karding.

Thirty-seven students from CSO-RSO and SERVE arrived at DLSU-D on the fourth day of their Self Care Week to participate in the donation/relief/ inventory operations for the affected communities in Central Luzon and several areas in Cavite.

The students got to work on inventory, organization, and repackaging of the in-kind donations received by the Lasallian Community Development Center (LCDC) and made sure to send their love along with the relief packs by including encouraging handwritten messages for the beneficiaries.

Among the RSOs who participated in the relief preparations came from the Junior Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines - DLSU-Dasmariñas, SINAG Society of Leaders, Marche Societe, People Management Society - DLSUD and Students' Extension of Resources through Voluntary Efforts – SERVE.
