The Office of the Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Academics is calling for innovative researchers to submit proposals meant to reimagine how it is going to be like in 2022-2023 for DLSU-Dasmarinas.
"Many expect that the end of the pandemic is the return to normal - the conventional (ways of teaching, learning, discourse, research, leadership, and even thinking). That must be disrupted. For the PROVOST, the end of the pandemic must be the beginning of a new normal – innovation, especially in educational leadership and administration. Everyone is invited to take part in the disruption because each idea will help in defining what the DLSU-D normal will be," Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Academics and Research Dr. Marco Saez said in his inivitation to the community.
Guidelines for Participation
- Click on the link below and describe an innovative way to carry out your action research for Academics and Research. Examples may be holding meetings, doing student activities, performing lab work, consultation meetings, teacher scheduling, holding testimonial dinners, graduation, and other events, OJT, anything that your imagination shall bring you.
- Indicate a period you will pilot this – either Second semester or Summer of A.Y. 2021-2022
- Identify the participants who will pilot this on campus. Sectors (student, alumni, support staff, parents) other than faculty must have a DLSU-D faculty as mentor to participate. Since you need to be in campus to pilot your project and must secure basic requirements for F2F namely – full vaccination, insurance, and parent consent (for students).
- Write about it at the end of the pilot for a presentation at a public conference that will be organized for this purpose. The presentation will merit a grant of 5K (net of tax).
- Should your work meet publication standards, it will be released in any of our DLSU-D refereed journals with all the incentives attributed to publication.
Please take note that it must work with the model of learning prescribed in the learning continuity chart for better normal/level 1.
