De La Salle University Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) strives to foster and promote inter and multidisciplinary researchers on critical issues that will benefit society. It seeks to provide scientific evidence to help inform policy makers in implementing developmental needs of Cavite province and the nation in general. DLSU-D also prides itself on engaging in research that adheres to strict guidelines based on core principles of integrity, social consciousness, innovation and moral responsibility.

The University’s research agenda and research thrusts have been carefully crafted and formulated by the Office of Vice Chief Administrative Officer for Research and Academics. In particular, the Office of the Deputy Provost for Research supervises offices like the University Research Office and the Cavite Studies Center that take the lead in research endeavors which are geared towards establishing the university as an entity with great concern for social development.

The University is firm in its belief that research, as a product of academic and scholarly works, must not be the end goal of intellectual processes but is just a part of the neverending cycle of innovation to respond to societal needs.
