Master's degree in library and information science or with units earned.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented organization.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in academic libraries.
Creates modules and programs pertaining to information literacy of the library; conducts library orientation; provides hands-on training-seminar on the use of different library resources; locates and creates digital content to support academic instructions; explores, evaluates, and encourages the deployment of emergent technologies into library programs and services. Develops print and digital promotional materials that effectively communicate the library's mission, services, and news to a variety of audiences; writes and edits articles for library and university publications; assists in monitoring the library's social media presence and regularly contributes content to the library's communication channels.
Manages and maintains the highest standards of customer service; explores and implements new approaches to accessing and using library resources and services.
