Mike Mendell Espíritu, a junior Hotel and Restaurant Management student has been chosen to be among the three (3) Philippine delegates to the UMAP Discovery Camp 2018 to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from July 22 to August 4, 2018.

Among the objectives of the camp is to encourage participating students to be socially conscious and caring global citizens through their engagement and participation. Around 40 students from University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) member countries will comprise the delegation.

Participants will also earn three units from a course with the title Global Citizenship, which can be credited to their program. The Office of Higher Education Commission (OHEC) of Thailand, Chulalongkorn University (CU), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Bangkok University (BU) are among the organizers of this activity.
