In line with its goal to provide excellent research infrastructure that supports meaningful, innovative and relevant research output with scientific merit, the DLSU-D Research Office established the DLSU-D Ethics Review Committee (ERC) tasked to assess the ethics Of the proposed research.
The DLSU-D ERC helps safeguard the dignity, rights, safety, and well-being of a11 actual or potential research participants.

To protect the welfare, rights, dignity and safety of research participants through efficient review processes in accordance with the National Ethical Guidelines for Health Research (2017) and local regulatory laws.

- if there is a YES answer to any of the five conditions, the proponents must be advised to accomplish Ethics Review Application and submit to DERC. If all the answers are NO, the College ERC shall issue the Research Ethics Clearance Form.

Ethics review process usually takes 14 business days depending on the submitted requirements and availability of the members assigned to review your Research Proposal.
