Dr. Jesus A. Medina recently presented his dissertation on the evolution of Cavite fashion from the 1950s to 1990s at the Cabezas Viewing Room. The event was part of the Geronimo Berenguer delos Reyes, Jr. Distinguished Professorial Chair in Cavite and Philippine History.

Dr. Medina, a faculty of History of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas, was the recipient of the professorial chair for the school year 2016-2017.
