De La Salle University-Dasmariñas welcomed back Lasallians to the new semester with a Eucharistic celebration in honor of the Catholic Teachers’ Day and the jubilee year to mark the 300th anniversary of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s completion of his earthly journey.
The Eucharistic celebration served as a kick off to the localized celebration of the Lasallian tercentenary which includes a forum on the Jubilee; the Lasallian Festival; the Relic tour in our campus; the Dalaw Juan; and our localized celebrations of Lasallian Feasts such as the Feast of St. La Salle and his declaration as Patron Saint of All Teachers.
The mass was also held to underscore the role adult members of the Lasallian community in the formation of the youth as part of “Lasallian Mentors’ Day.”
