In celebration of the 425th anniversary of the Parish of Silang, the Silang Parish Council for Culture and Heritage held an exhibition opening entitled “Manto: Weaving Silang History Through The Virgen de Candelaria’s Festive Vestments,” in partnership with De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, at the Museo De La Salle on February 20, 2020.
Esteemed guests of the event included Mayor (of Silang) Socorro Poblete, Chairman of the Silang Heritage Council Larry Pallera, Parish Priest of Silang Rev. Fr. Marty Dimaranan, and Philip Lacson Medina, Chairman of the 425 Committee, Silang Mother Butlers Guild, Silang Parish Pastoral Council, Silang Fiesta Committee and Lenders of the Virgen’s religious vestments.
The exhibition will run from February 20-May 30, 2020, at the Fe Sarmiento-Panlilio Room, Museo De La Salle, De La Salle University-Dasmarinas.
