The 40-Day Journey of Faith: De La Salle Relic Visit in DLSU-D’s “Relic Tour” activity has been cancelled.
UPDATE: OFFICIAL STATEMENT: CANCELLATION OF THE RELIC TOUR
"A Journey of Faith: St. John Baptist de La Salle Relic Tour" had been warmly received by several parishes and parochial schools in the Diocese of Imus since March 4. The relic was venerated by the faithful, especially the students and teachers. The relic tour team was also able to cater to the Catholic teachers during the tour.
Unfortunately, however, due to the recent developments regarding the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19), in adherence to the suspension of classes of the provincial government of Cavite and the call for precautionary measures by the national government, particularly the Department of Health and the Department of Education, we deem it necessary to cancel the remaining schedules of the tour. This is also in line with the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Circular No. 10-20, dated March 10, 2020 admonishing the faithful to follow the recommendations of the government in this matter.
The relic is now deposited at the chapel of the Retreat and Recollection Center of the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas for safekeeping and will remain "off-limits" to the public until further notice.
We continue to ask the intercession of St. John Baptist de La Salle and all the saints in these uncertain times.

The greatest gift of St. John Baptist De la Salle to humanity is the sharing of his holistic spiritual virtue which was later observed by many who believed in change.
