De La Salle University-Dasmariñas has announced that starting A.Y. 2023-2024, all graduate programs will be transitioning to a trimestral basis.

“We are excited to share with you a significant change that will take effect starting Term 1 of the Academic Year 2023-2024. In our continuous pursuit of academic excellence and response to the evolving needs of our students, we have decided to transition ALL Graduate Programs to a Trimestral Basis,” the Center for Student Admissions posted in the official announcement.

College of Business Administration and Accountancy Graduate Studies Director Dr. Leo Manansala welcomed the move as the CBAAGS has already adopted the system.

“Offering a trimester system to graduate students gives flexibility and life-work-study balance not only for students but also for our faculty members. Students can finish their GS studies faster which is essential for them because they are working and finishing the GS at the earliest possible time will give them the opportunity to reap the return of their investments as earlier as well after being promoted by completing the GS,” he said, adding the trimester system also benefits the university as it can maximize its resources and update its position in the competition for graduate program offerings.
